Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer
This September, I'm walking 156km - twice the number of the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancers, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating. I was still in my teens when an old family friend received a late-term diagnosis and devastatingly passed not long after.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.
But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 156km to fight this terrible disease.
