Walking to remember my dad and to end pancreatic cancer
This September, in honour of my beloved dad Eddy who died from pancreatic cancer in April 2026, I’m walking 156km - 2km to remember every 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer every week.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.
But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 156km to fight this terrible disease.
