Support to fight pancreatic cancer
In February 2015 my mum was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and we have been so fortunate to be in the all clear for the past 10 years. This September, I'm running 78km for the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.
But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm running (I hate running) to fight this terrible disease.
