Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer
This September, I'm walking 78km for the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
Specifically, I'm walking in memory of my beloved Auntie Jen, for my partner Graeme, who through incredible good fortune is going great after his brush with the disease, and now, for my school friend Brigid, whose brother has just been diagnosed.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.
But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 78km to fight this terrible disease.
