Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer

This September, I'm walking 78km for the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.


As many of you know, my husband Leigh and I recently married. Within 6 months he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

Leigh unfortunately lost his father to pancreatic cancer just over 2 years ago. 

I set my goal as $760 as that is the cost to provide early surveillance to 2 people who are at higher risk of inherited pancreatic cancer. I thought this was especially fitting given Leigh has 2 daughters, Ella and Hannah. This $760 represents them.

Early treatment in Leigh’s case has meant that they were able to operate and he is now on the road to recovery. Leigh was completely symptom free, highlighting the importance of early detection.

Now that I have hit my $760 target (thankyou!!), I would like to raise another $380 to fund early detection  for a 3rd person. This $380 will represent his identical twin brother, Gregg.

My hope is that one day, every single person diagnosed with pancreatic cancer can be as blessed as Leigh to be successfully treated and live a long happy life.
