Support my challenge to fight pancreatic cancer

In August my cousin, Kylie, lost her battle to Pancreatic Cancer. Our family and I are walking to achieve the best outcome as a group to honour her, in hopes to contribute to much needed research so others who are diagnosed have more of a  survival rate and families won’t have to feel the same pain we are feeling and forever will. 

This September, I'm walking 30km for the 71 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week. 

Pancreatic cancer is now the 4th biggest cancer killer in Australia, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.

If you are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer tomorrow, there is only a 12.5% chance you'll be alive in 5 years.

But research can change this. Your support will fund life-saving pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.

So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 71km to fight this terrible disease.
