Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer
This September, I'm walking 78km in honour of mum and for the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.
But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 78km to fight this terrible disease.

My mum Barbara was tragically taken from us in June last year from this scourge of a disease. A woman that did nothing but good in this world and appeared healthy to the naked eye had life stripped from her in a matter of less than three months from diagnosis. Mum was everything to me, my brother and her entire family and her loss has left a hole in our lives. We keep her alive in our hearts by constantly talking about her and never letting her memory fade into the background. I am doing this walk to honour her and with the hope I can do my small part to help reduce the suffering of pancreatic cancer. I love you mum, and I miss you every day.
