Support my challenge to fight pancreatic cancer
This September, I'm walking 71km for the 71 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
It is also the 10 year Anniversary of the passing of our dear friend Danny who lost his battle to this devastating illness.
I stand by my friend and original founder of the Remember September movement Ben Wilheim as we remember together 10 years since this whole movement started.
Pancreatic cancer is now the 4th biggest cancer killer in Australia, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
If you are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer tomorrow, there is only a 12.5% chance you'll be alive in 5 years.
But research can change this. Your support will fund life-saving pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 71km to fight this terrible disease.
Please make a donation to support me, and together...
We will remember them. We will honour them. We will fight for them.
