Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer as a tribute my sister Joy…
September is here… and this one means more to me than I can put into words. 💜
This September, we are taking on a 78 km walking challenge to raise funds for Pankind and help fight pancreatic cancer.
For many, this may simply be a fundraising challenge. For me, it is deeply personal.
Pancreatic cancer took my only sister, Joy. 💔
Losing her has left a space in my heart that can never be filled. As the days and weeks pass, I miss her in ways I never knew were possible. There are moments when I still wish I could pick up the phone, hear her voice, or simply have one more day with her.
That is why, this September, I will walk 78 kilometres for her.
I will walk through the tired legs, the difficult days and the moments when I don’t feel like taking another step — because every kilometre will remind me of why I started.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest cancers, and too many families know the heartbreak of losing someone they love. I hope that by raising awareness and funds, we can help support research, improve outcomes and give other families more time with the people they love.
So I’m asking you to walk with us, if you can.
Walk a kilometre. Walk 10. Walk all 78 with us.

Special tribute to my sister Joy. Amazing mother and wife, caring daughter, loving and supportive sister, a friend to many, born with a good heart. We miss you so much, you will stay in our hearts forever… Joy was diagnosed in February, bravely fought for 5 months. She left us July 21,2026.
