Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer
This September, I'm walking 78km for the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
It falls in the 'Rare Diseases' bucket - but isn't so rare when it affects extended family.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are really poor.
At the moment, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.
But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 78km to fight this disease.
Please make a donation to support me, and together...
We will remember them. We will honour them.
By funding research and improving detection, we can prevent others' late diagnosis and improve survival rates.
