Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer
This September, I'm walking 78km for the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.
But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 78km to fight this terrible disease.

Having the BRCA2 gene and having lost family to pancreatic cancer plus having my own battle with breast cancer - this is certainly a cause dear to me!
23/11/2006 after a short fight of 6 weeks , I lost my Beautiful Mum to Pancreatic cancer. She was a week off turning 53. After being treated for Gastro , and not getting better the Dr finally decided to run more tests , That’s when they found Out it was pancreatic cancer. She fought to the very end even though she was in a lot of pain. I also lost a very close friend 12 mths ago to this horrible cancer and another friend who has just finished chemo . This year will be my 5th year of walking and raising money for Pankind 💜
