My mum’s best friend of 43 years sadly lost her battle with pancreatic cancer at just 52 years old. 💔
She was far too young, and her loss has had such a lasting impact on all that knew her.
This September, I’m walking 78km to raise funds for pancreatic cancer research and awareness, with the hope of giving more people a fighting chance in the future. 💜
Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancers. Because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely shows symptoms, too many people are diagnosed when the disease is already advanced.
