In honour and support of Amanda!
In September I am going to do my part to help raise funds for Pancreatic cancer. It includes walking 78km - whilst travelling for work, I will don my purple t-shirt and walk every step for Amanda and her family!
I was away in China in March when I received Amanda's call - it is one I will never forget! We made a pact that she / we were going to do all we could to fight it. Amanda has done just that, with determination, resilience and sheer grace. Treatment is horrible, but she doesn't complain.
This is just one small part to helping my beautiful friend of 40 years.
We can all do our part to help families who have loved ones suffering this cancer. Please support my cause so we may all support Amanda and those just like her.
Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rate.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 78km to fight this terrible disease.
