Support my challenge to fight pancreatic cancer
Pancreatic Cancer is becoming a bit too familiar in my family so this September, I'm giving up processed sugar to honour the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week. That means no cakes, biscuits, chocolate, sweets, jams, ice cream…afternoon tea will be really tough!
Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.
But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to give up something I can't go without to fight this terrible disease.
