Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer
This September, I'm walking 156km for the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.
But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 78km to fight this terrible disease.

This September, I'm taking on Remember September — walking and running 156km throughout the month to raise $1,200 for pancreatic cancer research and support.
Working in medical oncology has given this cause a very personal meaning for me. I see the reality of pancreatic cancer far too often. I've cared for patients living through the hardest days of their lives, and I've also experienced the heartbreak of losing patients to this disease.
Behind every diagnosis is a person. A mum. A dad. A partner. A friend. Someone with a family waiting for them at home.
So this September, I'm moving for every person affected by pancreatic cancer — for the patients I've cared for, the ones we've lost, the families left behind, and for a future where this disease doesn't take so much.
156km. One month. One goal: $1,200. 💜
