This is a personal challenge for me after being lucky enough to beat Pancreatic Cancer

Some people won’t know that I was lucky enough to beat Pancreatic Cancer.

After discovering a Neuroendocrine tumor on my pancreas, I underwent Whipple Surgery with the fantastic team at the Princess Alexandria Hospital in Brisbane.  A massive surgery, but one I was grateful to have and now have the opportunity to get on with my life.

This September, I'm walking 78km for the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.

Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.

Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.

But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.

So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 78km to fight this terrible disease.

Please make a donation to support me, and together...

We will remember them. We will honour them. We will fight for them.
