Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer
This September, I'm walking 75km for the 75 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
While I haven’t been personally affected by this terrible disease, my friend Steph has lost her mum, her dad and her aunt all to pancreatic cancer in a little over a year.
Steph’s mum Vicki was the first person I knew to pass from pancreatic cancer. While I was just her daughter’s friend, she always went above and beyond for me, helping me in any way she could. She was truely a remarkable and caring woman who I will miss forever.
Pancreatic cancer is the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 75km to fight this terrible disease.
Please make a donation to support me, and together...
We will remember them. We will honour them. We will fight for them.

My Tribute Post

Vicki was my friend’s mum, but she was so much more. She always looked out for me when she didn’t need to and went out of her way to help me out anyway she could. She was a generous and compassionate woman, I think about her kindness daily!
