Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer

This September, I'm walking/running 234kms for the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.

Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.

Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3^rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.

I’m walking, running, and jogging in honour of my beautiful mum, who has been courageously battling pancreatic cancer for just over two years. Since the day she was diagnosed, she has faced every challenge with incredible strength, resilience, and determination. Watching her fight has shown me what true courage looks like.

A few weeks ago, I also underwent shoulder reconstruction surgery, so with my surgeon’s approval, I’m not entirely sure I’ll be able to run the entire event. But I promise I’ll give it everything I’ve got. Every step, whether I’m walking, jogging, or running, is for Mum and all who have been affected by Pancreatic cancer.

We continue to hold onto hope, especially as we wait for the possibility of a new drug trial that could make all the difference.
