Pancreatic cancer is a highly aggressive cancer that has limited treatment options available.
The disease is often detected once it has advanced to its later stages and 70% of Australians die within one year of their diagnosis – this was true for both my mum and grandfather.
However, this can change as earlier this year the new drug daraxonrasib showed a near doubling of survival rates.
A donation to Pankind supports pancreatic cancer research aimed at improving early detection methods and discovering novel therapies like daraxonrasib to increase survival rates.
We will remember them. We will honour them. We will fight for them.
