To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die
A wonderful husband and father. A kind and generous son and son in law, brother and brother in law. An all round good human taken too soon. We are doing this for him and for all the others who have been taken by this hideous disease.
This September, we're walking 78km for the 78 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.
But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, we're challenging ourselves to get up, get moving and walk 78km to fight this terrible disease.
