Move It

My Activity Tracking

My target 63 kms

I'm Moving It this September!

This September, I'm walking 63km for the 63 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.

Pancreatic cancer is now the 3rd biggest cancer killer of Australians, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.

If you are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer tomorrow, there is only a 10% chance you'll be alive in 5 years.

But research can change this. Your support will fund life-saving pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.

So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 63km.

Please make a donation to support my challenge and help fund life-changing pancreatic cancer research.

Walking with my little bestie

Thursday 23rd Sep
My little bestie and I took the babies out for a walk in their prams! The little legend was completely self styled! Mum gave her this little pram for her first birthday! She would have loved seeing this little diva walking out and about like this.

Cracking 70km with this little legend!

Monday 20th Sep
I’ve smashed my 63km walking goal for September with my little walking buddies! Little Remy turned 1 over the weekend the first of many firsts without my beautiful mumma! Every step is for her!

Hitting 55kms

Monday 13th Sep
Today the kids and I went on a 3.5km walk! We talked about why we are walking! To raise money and awareness for pancreatic cancer funding and our committment to honour their beautiful tatty! We took the opportunity to take a bag with us to pick up rubbish along our walking route to help teach my little people about thr importance of protecting our environment and all the beautiful creatures in it! Mum would be so proud of them!

Fam bam walk

Saturday 11th Sep
We went for a nice 2km family walk down to our community garden event and grabbed some fresh honeycomb from a local producer. Frankie just loves bees and has developed a green thumb love of gardening just like her Tatty had! And another 2km walk with just Bess (our doggo) and I to pick up a prize Frankie won in the raffle.

Cracking 40km

Thursday 9th Sep
Been taking some evening walks with the OG babe bessy. It’s been a nice time to reflect on the past year. When our aunty Sarah was diagnosed mum went and had full CT abdo/ pelvis and tumour markers. She had no symptoms and her results were normal! She had multiple tests in the months before she got diagnosed when she was symptomatic which couldn’t find a cause! Pancreatic cancer is so hard to diagnose and when they finally catch It it is almost always too late. 💔

My little walking buddy

Thursday 9th Sep
Today we went on a walk with my little self styled Frankie girl and Remy in the pram! Frankie got tired after 20 meters and hitched in the bottom of the pram! But rallied after some babycino bribery! I’m doing this fundraising for these kids! For their future, for the time they missed out on with their tatty!

First walk!

Wednesday 1st Sep
Remy and I went for a beautiful 4km walk around our estate!
A year ago today my biggest concern was that the border between nsw and Qld was closed and mum wouldn’t be able to meet my beautiful baby boy when he was born to be born in 2 weeks time last year. Everyone was seemingly healthy! Fast forward 2 months I’m heading down to lismore becusse mum had some worrying results! She was diagnosed shortly after! A year on it’s been 2.5 months since we lost her! This disease is symptom free until it’s too late! Any donations to help people not go through this pain and cruel death is worth so much to our family! Please consider donating if you can!   X
