Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer
This September, I’m walking 150km for the 75 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
This cause means everything to me. My dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in October last year, and every single day since, he’s faced it with a strength that inspires me beyond words. Pancreatic cancer is one of the hardest to fight — it’s often found too late, and the survival rates are heartbreakingly low. Right now in Australia, 12 families hear this diagnosis every single day, and it’s the third biggest cancer killer.
The fact that Dad is still here, still fighting, fills me with so much pride. But the reality is, there’s still no cure. More research is desperately needed to change the outcome for families like mine — to give hope, better treatments, and ultimately a future.
That’s why I’ve committed to this 150km challenge. Every step I take is for Dad, and for every person and family affected by pancreatic cancer.
