While I'm doing this walking to raise funds for research into pancreatic cancer in honour of my Mum who passed away in 2016 from this disease. Today I've thought lots of my Dad as it's the anniversary of his passing. I still did a 4.8km walk. https://www.rememberseptember.org.au/s/13961/22825

I got called into work early and knew it'd be dark when I finished so I did a quick walk in my break just over a km something is better than nothing

Back to work today after having the last week off while Wes was away. Was a busy day. I'd done 14000 steps by the time I'd finished. So a quick walk on dark 1.73km. https://www.rememberseptember.org.au/s/13961/22825

3 walks today 0.84km walking to shops 2.64km with my sister 1.03km while the kids had swimming That's 4.51km today. 8.86km out of 75km

Day 1.

I did two walks today. 2.28km and 2.07. So 4.35km. Only 70.65 to go.

This September, we're walking 75km for the 75 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week. 

Pancreatic cancer is now the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.

If you are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer tomorrow, there is only a 13% chance you'll be alive in 5 years.

But research can change this. Your support will fund ground-breaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.

So this September, we're challenging ourselves to get up, get moving and walk 75km to fight this terrible disease.
