Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer
This September, I'm walking 75km for the 75 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
Pancreatic cancer is the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.
But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 75km to fight this terrible disease.

I am walking because I lost my father to this terrible disease in July this year. He got Pancreatic Cancer 2 yrs ago. But it didn't stop him from travel overseas to see family in the early stages. He was a fighter he had Chemo and it shrunk and we all thought that was great and then he had a a bad turn earlier this year, where he was in and out of hospital. The Cancer was growing again and now it was attached to blood vessels Then he had near 2 months in hospital and his muscles started to deteriorate because he could walk far. He had Radiation but it didnt work. He found it hard to walk and even doing the simplest things wore him out. They told him at the start he had about 6 months but he fought and lasted 2 yrs. I am,so proud on him. I will miss him but I know he is not suffering anymore and is now with Mum looking down. I hope I can,make him proud. 💜🩷
