Support my challenge to fight pancreatic cancer

This September, I'm walking 71km for the 71 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week. 

Pancreatic cancer is now the 4th biggest cancer killer in Australia, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.

If you are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer tomorrow, there is only a 12.5% chance you'll be alive in 5 years.

But research can change this. Your support will fund life-saving pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.

So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 71km to fight this terrible disease.

Put your foot down, Newcastle event 15/9

Sunday 15th Sep
Hey all, attended and completed the 5km ‘put your foot down’ walk in at Newcastle foreshore this morning. Cold windy and a bit of rain, but a great turn out nonetheless. Kate, Lilly and Harry also came along. 
A really well organised event with lots of people dressing up in purple.

Progress update - 14/09/24

Saturday 14th Sep
Hi all, once again thankyou so much for supporting me. I have raised almost $3000!! Thanks to everyone, much more that expected.  Have now walked and ran 35km with a parkrun  this morning at Blackbutt. 
Looking forward to ‘Put your foot down’ Remember September 5km walk tomorrow from Nobbys beach starting from around 8:30-9

Hi everyone, 
Firstly like to thank everyone so very much for your generous donations. It has more than exceeded my expectations to not only remember Jane but to help fund critical research to find successful treatment which we all hope leads to a cure. 
I have already started my walk sessions and up 8km so far and to keep progressing strong
