Please Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer

This September, I'm walking 75km for the 75 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.

Pancreatic cancer is the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.

Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.

But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.

So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 75km to fight this terrible disease.

Please make a donation to support me, and together...

We will remember them. We will honour them. We will fight for them.

Please help me fight for a cure to help myself and the many other Pancreatic Cancer ♋️ patients. 🙏🙏

My impact over 5 years

My Tribute Post

Thank you to everyone who has donated to support my walking. As a Pancreatic Cancer patient currently having Chemotherapy for the last 3years after my cancer returned in my Liver. It is inoperable this time and I am on Chemotherapy until something changes and the plan needs to be reviewed. I was diagnosed in April 2020 and I had chemotherapy, Radium, and surgery in Sydney after Qld Surgeons refused to operate on me as I was a high risk case. I spent about 6weeks in November-December 2020 in Sydney. We arrived home amongst Covid lockdowns and my husband not feeling well. He collapsed at home and he was diagnosed with an inoperable and untreatable Brain Cancer in January and passed away 16th February 2021. I also suddenly lost my husband's younger sister of Myocarditis in September 2021 too. These couple of years were really tough for me but doing the walk has helped me get through it all. Today I am finally over 1/2way of my goal as I have Neuropathy in my feet and ankles and find it difficult to walk. I can't walk anymore than 5kms at a time due to this and my 12 year old dog with severe arthritis is also struggling but I hope it is helping us both. Keep up all the inspiring walks and tributes. It is helping to motivate me.

A nice little 4.5km walk today

Friday 12th Sep
A nice little walk today to clear the head and body as I have been so sore and headaches the last couple of days. That's why I have been quiet and I exhausted myself and the dog going to the vets and walking the streets selling raffle numbers for our local little athletics club that are drawn each week.

My first walk of 5kms for 2025

Tuesday 2nd Sep
I started my walking 75km today with a 5km walk after we had a rainy, cold day yesterday.
