Support my challenge to fight pancreatic cancer
This September, I'm walking 71km for the 71 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
Pancreatic cancer is now the 4th biggest cancer killer in Australia, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
If you are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer tomorrow, there is only a 12.5% chance you'll be alive in 5 years.
But research can change this. Your support will fund life-saving pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 71km to fight this terrible disease.

My cancer journey so far
Wednesday 28th Aug After a four year journey from 2020 when my surgeon told me I was cancer free to the beginning of 2022 to be told by Oncologist that it had comeback in my Liver and told by surgeon that it was inoperable. After having 30 monthly cycles of 3weeks on, 1 week off since 2022 my scans, bloods and cancer markers are all good within the normal ranges. I am so lucky to be in the 12.5% of survivors so far that I can walk to keep fighting for a cure and better treatments for Pancreatic Cancer even though the Neuropathy in my feet and legs make me sore and tired.
