I'm Moving It this September in Memory of my big sis Maria!

This year (my third), I plan to ride 136kms,to honor all those we have lost, for me, my beautiful sister Maria. And stand with those fighting to survive this unrelenting disease. 

Pancreatic cancer is now the 3rd biggest cancer killer of Australians, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.

If you are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer tomorrow, there is only an 12.2% chance you'll be alive in 5 years.

But research can change this. Your support will fund life-saving pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.

Wednesday 6th Sep
So I decided to go to the gym to start my commitment to riding 136kms.  So far have managed 30kms over the last 2 days. I am not going to be able to get on the bike each day, but I will try and make the most of every occasion I can. Some days I will do little and other days, I will do more.
Due to an extremely generous donation this eveing, I have now made my purple pledge to raise $1200 for vital research into this cruel unrelenting disease. 

Together, we will remember them. We will honour them. We will fight for them. 💜
