Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer
This September, I'm walking 100km for the 75 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week. I'm doing it in memory of my lovely friend Joan, who received the awful diagnosis of pancreatic cancer just when she was planning some long-awaited travel.
Pancreatic cancer is the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.
But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 100km to fight this terrible disease.
