Day 1!!!

Hi everyone, Paige here!! I'm thrilled to be starting a fundraiser for those suffering pancreatic cancer, an organization doing incredible work by raising funds and putting this event together I’m taking part in this event due to the affect this illness has on family’s it affects people in different ways I call it the silent killer!! my goal is I’m hoping to raise funds to help with vital research for pancreatic cancer and help increase survival rates Please share this post with your networks to help us spread the word! Support my challenge to help with research end pancreatic cancer

This September, I’m walking 75km for the 75 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.

Pancreatic cancer is the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.

Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3^rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.

But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.

So this September, we're challenging ourselves to get up, get moving and walk 75km to fight this terrible disease.

Times are tough I know but the smallest donation can make a difference Please make a donation to support my mission... you never know who be fighting the demon one day 

It cost approximately 480 dollars to fund just 3 days of research into this terrible illness, and 720 dollars to help diagnose patients early to increase there chance of survival, and 1200 dollars to fund just 1 week of pancreatic cancer research! 

If I can raise 500 dollars to help with ground breaking research or early intervention or treatment or something I have done my part 

We will remember them. We will honour them. We will fight for them.
