Support my challenge to fight pancreatic cancer

This September, I'm walking 75km for the 75 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week. 

Pancreatic cancer is now the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.

If you are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer tomorrow, there is only a 13% chance you'll be alive in 5 years.

But research can change this. Your support will fund ground-breaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.

So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 75km to fight this terrible disease.

Day 7- fathers day

Sunday 7th Sep
A little extra km's today in support of Dad for Fathers Day and also to support those who are without their dads. I appreciate the support some special friends are giving me, amongst their own challenges. I am blessed to have dad with me. To share this journey with him. To do anything I can to support him. I am blessed for my family and the way everyone chips in to do what needs to be done.x

Thursday 4th Sep
Another couple of km in between appointments, work and netball. Can't wait for the weekend to punch out some serious miles.

Wednesday 3rd Sep
Super busy day so a quick walk after watching Adi's school Netball team have a great win. My two little walking companions in Letty and Bonnie kept me on my toes!

Tuesday 2nd Sep
Busy day so fit my walking in around Adi's netball training. Fun fact - each lap of the netball complex is 750m. Lol. Thanks to the Kookaburra who diligently watched over me.

Only a modest start but the hill was a killer. The views spectacular! Theme of the day - celebrating the diverse neighbourhood I call home while on Sydney. See my socials for the pics.
