Please support my challenge to fight pancreatic cancer.
This September I’m honouring my wonderful husband Rodney by walking 75km. He was a remarkable man who passed away too soon
Sadly 75 Australians die from pancreatic cancer each week.
Pancreatic cancer is now the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
If you are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer tomorrow, there is only a 13% chance you'll be alive in 5 years.
But research can change this. Your support will fund ground-breaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 75km to fight this terrible disease.
Please make a donation to support me, and together...
We will remember them. We will honour them. We will fight for them.

Rodney, my invisible husband fought this insidious cancer with such an amazing mindset. He definitely believed he would be that 3% who would go on living. Sadly he lost his fight just shy of 12 months. Rodney’s struggle against the pain & showing us all his brave stance ended on June 10th 2025. I so wish Rodney had never had this awful cancer, but he did. Now I wish to help, in some small way, the doctors with their research to find ways for earlier detection. Also treatments that have better outcomes for people who are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Rodney will never be forgotten by myself & our 5 beautiful children. We will continue to do the things he loved, see the places he always wanted to see, create/build the things he had envisioned & lead wonderful full lives that he would be proud to say that my wife did that & my children achieved this! We love you forever Rodney Xx
