Support my challenge to fight pancreatic cancer

Across September I'm walking 100kms to support the research for pancreatic cancer. There are 71 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week, the last time I completed this fundraiser the figure was 63 people, so it’s alarming that this number has increased.

Unfortunately this is personal for me. In 2012 my beautiful Mum Jules passed away at the age of 50 after an 18 month fight, and she fought hard.

She has missed all the milestones, the big (and small) birthdays, the engagements, the weddings and what would have made her the happiest, the grandkids. 9 beautiful grandkids who would have absolutely adored her, and she equally would have adored them.

I’m doing this so hopefully we can support the continued research and find a way to reduce this stat, and more families can have their loved ones around a lot longer.

We will remember them. We will honour them. We will fight for them.
