Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer
This is Matt ( Matthew Borrack), he is a man i didnt know very long, but he made a huge impact on someone I love. I only met Matt once and unfortunately, due to this terrible cancer, the promise of time was not granted. Matt and I discussed having a catch up BBQ, where we would watch the current sport (probably footy) and our partners could cook. He was also going to show me Aussie beer was so much better then that overseas stuff.
My dearest friend Bec, fell for this man. Their time was short. I cant take away hers,or Matts families, hurt so instead ill walk. Im thinking any football/cricket ground will be appropriate. 2 to 3 laps a day❤️
If my personal challenges prevent me from walking outside I will be marching on the spot watching AFL biffs bumps and brawlers because Matt and I agreed players these days are becoming soft.
So This September, I'm walking 75km for the 75 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
Pancreatic cancer is the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.
But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 75km to fight this terrible disease.
Please make a donation to support me, and together...
We will remember them. We will honour them. We will fight for them.
