Support my challenge to fight pancreatic cancer
September last year we were coming to terms with the fact that mum had just been diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. Sadly mum passed away in April, so this year, I do this to honour her and to remember all those impacted by this dreaded disease!
Pancreatic cancer is now the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
This September, I'm walking 75km for the 75 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week. Again, I will be doing this in and around training for a 70.3 Half Ironman, also in September. My training will not count to the 75km.
If you have a few spare $$, please donate to support me, and together...
We will remember them. We will honour them. We will fight for them.
Always thinking of you Nanny
