Support my challenge to fight pancreatic cancer!
This September, I'm walking 71km for the 71 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
Pancreatic cancer is now the 4th biggest cancer killer in Australia, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
If you are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer tomorrow, there is only a 12.5% chance you'll be alive in 5 years.
Dean, 52yo was given this hope but only survived 2.5 months, we must do better than this! Along with improved support for patients and their families during this devastating journey!
We hope research can change these stats and diagnose earlier or even prevent. Your support will fund life-saving pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 71km to fight this terrible disease.
