In His Memory, With Every Step
This September, I’m walking 200km in memory of my beautiful Dad, who we lost to pancreatic cancer in 2018.
This is my third year fundraising, and every year I do it for him and for the 75 Australians who lose their lives to this brutal disease every single week.
Pancreatic cancer is now the 3rd biggest cancer killer in the country. It’s aggressive, often silent in its early stages, and by the time it’s found, it’s usually too late.
If you're diagnosed tomorrow, there's only a 13% chance you’ll still be here in five years.
That’s not good enough.
I’m grateful to be walking another year for Pankind. For my Dad. For the ones we’ve lost. For the ones still fighting.
Every step I take helps fund critical, life-saving research, research that gives hope.
