Support my challenge to fight pancreatic cancer
This September, I'm walking 75km for the 75 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
Pancreatic cancer is now the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
If you are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer tomorrow, there is only a 13% chance you'll be alive in 5 years.
But research can change this. Your support will fund ground-breaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 75km to fight this terrible disease.

It is special to walk, with my son, to remember my father/ his grandfather, who passed away in 1982. At that time expected survival rates were only 5%. It is great to know that it ga risen to 133 % but it is not enough. Adam and I feel proud to have walked to support research for early diagnosis and higher % survival rates. I will never forget my father, as he was so special to me and my children.
