In Loving Memory Of
Gemma Zimbardi
To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die
Gemma
An amazing soul, mother, sister, nonna taken from us by a silent killer. You are never forgotten nonna, and I’m grateful that you were able to meet you great grandson who will be 6 years old this November 23rd, and the 23rd is the date you passed. The number 23 is a significant number in my life. My son was born but God decided it was also time to take one on his angels back and watch over us. You are forever loved, never forgotten, ur heart full of love that was never ending. You gave and gave with a smile in your face every day. I know it’s not much but now it’s time for me to do something for you and all the other beautiful souls. I will walk for you, I know how much you loved to walk. With ur hat on and long sleeve shirt making sure the sun didn’t touch your skin, you walked for hours so much energy. Let me walk for you now This September, we're walking 75km for the 75 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
Pancreatic cancer is the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.
But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, we're challenging ourselves to get up, get moving and walk 75km to fight this terrible disease.
Please make a donation to support us, and together...
We will remember them. We will honour them. We will fight for them.
