Dance with Karen to raise funds for Pankind - Pancreatic Cancer
This September, I am dancing in honour of my dear brother Kerren, who passed away last September from pancreatic cancer. I would like to raise funds though my wonderful dance class participants for the 75 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.
Pancreatic cancer is the toughest common cancer, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day. It is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia.
But research can change this. Your support will fund groundbreaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself and my wonderful team to get up, get dancing and shaking to fight this terrible disease.
