Support my challenge to end pancreatic cancer
This September, I’m walking 75km for the 75 Australians who lose their lives to pancreatic cancer each week.
This cause is close to my heart. My mum was diagnosed 21 months ago and has been showing incredible strength every day since. Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest cancers — it’s often found late, which makes survival rates very low. Right now, 12 Australians are diagnosed with it every day, and it’s the third biggest cancer killer in the country.
The fact that Mum is still fighting nearly two years on is something I’m so proud of, but there’s still no cure for this cancer. More research is the only way forward — to bring better treatments and hope for families like mine.
That’s why I’m taking on this 75km challenge. Every step is for Mum, and for everyone impacted by pancreatic cancer. If you’d like to support me, any donation big or small will make a difference. Together, we can honour those we’ve lost, support those still fighting, and push for a better future.
