Support my challenge to fight pancreatic cancer
This September, I'm walking 80km to not only Remember my mum who was the light of many lives and my best friend. But also to help find the research so that we can see a better future without this horrible disease.
Pancreatic cancer is now the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
If you are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer tomorrow, there is only a 13% chance you'll be alive in 5 years.
But research can change this. Your support will fund ground-breaking pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 80km to fight this terrible disease.

Im doing this in memory of my mum who we lost in January this year to this horrible cancer, she was an amazing person and could brighten anyones day with a smile, hug and some good old fashion home baking. I miss her so much everyday because she wasnt only my mum but she was my best friend and the greatest Grandma ever and im sad knowing she wont be here to see my son grow up but i know she is watching over him. Lets fight to put an end to the suffering this cancer causes because im ready to see a world without it!
