Support my challenge to fight pancreatic cancer

This September I am again participating in the Remember September Challenge where I will be giving up all liquids except water for 30 days, raising money for pancreatic cancer research.

Yep you read correctly I'm doing it again...no coffee, no beer, no scotch or any drinks of any type ….just plain old delicious water.

In June 2018 I lost my Mum to pancreatic cancer, after she fought a courageous battle for over 3 years. 

This horrible disease took away the person our family loved and who my Dad called “my wife”, my brothers & I called “Mum”, her daughters-in-law called “Jeannie” & our kids called “Gran”.

Pancreatic cancer is now the 4th biggest cancer killer in Australia, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.

If you are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer tomorrow, there is only a 12.5% chance you'll be alive in 5 years.

But research can change this. Your support will fund life-saving pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.

The money I raise will fund life-saving research into the early detection and treatment of pancreatic cancer.
