Support my challenge to fight pancreatic cancer

This September, my mum, sister and myself are walking 71km for the 71 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week. 

It’s coming up to one year since losing my bestfriend, watching this disease take over his entire body broke me. I wish we had the opportunity of catching this disease earlier as we could have had a very different outcome and he could be here with us doing this challenge. 

I’m currently 31 weeks pregnant, due in early October. I like to think that he sent me this baby boy. But im not going to let that stop me, im going to complete this challenge hopefully without putting myself in labour in the process.  

Pancreatic cancer is now the 4th biggest cancer killer in Australia, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.

If you are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer tomorrow, there is only a 12.5% chance you'll be alive in 5 years.
