This September, we're walking 71km each for the 71 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week. We’ve chosen this cause in Memory of Troy Gum- Brother, Uncle and friend to so many!
Troy unfortunately passed in 2012, there’s not a day that goes by where we don’t think of him and miss him so dearly.
He was a Roxby Downs local, and whoever knew Troy loved him. Please get behind this great cause!
Pancreatic cancer is now the 4th biggest cancer killer in Australia, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.
If you are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer tomorrow, there is only a 12.5% chance you'll be alive in 5 Years.
So this September, we're challenging ourselves to get up, get moving to fight this terrible disease.
