We have reached the end of September and managed to exceed our fundraising goal! This is absolutely wonderful to see and we could not have done it without you. Once again, we would like to thank every single person that has donated and shown their support for this incredible cause. The generosity that we have received from all of our sponsors is an inspiration and we are truly grateful.

Also, congratulations to all that took part in the Remember September challenge! It is truly humbling to see the solidarity that everyone has shown in supporting those affected by pancreatic cancer. Taking part in charity challenges and fundraising allows for the continuation of PanKind's ground-breaking research. Together, we are remembering those that have been lost and those who are suffering from this disease.

The members of the Pancreatic Research Group at the Ingham Institute for Applied Medical Research are very excited to be taking part in Remember September! Each member has a goal to walk 63km over the month of September to help raise awareness and donations for pancreatic cancer research πŸ”¬ πŸƒ

As you may know, pancreatic cancer is a devastating disease that offers very poor survival rates for patients. By donating, you will be supporting the incredible work of researchers as they endeavour to improve the lives of patients and their families.

We're Moving It this September!

This September, we're walking 63km for the 63 Australians who die from pancreatic cancer each week.Β 

Pancreatic cancer is now the 3rd biggest cancer killer of Australians, and because early-stage pancreatic cancer rarely causes symptoms, the survival rates are devastating.

If you are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer tomorrow, there is only a 10% chance you'll be alive in 5 years.

But research can change this. Your support willΒ fund life-saving pancreatic cancer research and improve survival rates.

So this September, we're challenging ourselves to get up, get moving and walk 63km.
